So, back in September, I had plans to create and release an EP or potential album through Pacific Plaza Records, and it was gonna serve as a tribute to Artzie Music for its then-defunct status on YouTube after receiving numerous copyright claims. I was hoping to have at least ten tracks set for this release including some I had on my SoundCloud, and include my own instrumentals on them.

However, in late November/early December, my laptop died and I ended up losing every file I had been working on for the record. Suffice to say, I was extremely gutted, and I was gonna have the files sent over to Z.E.R.O so he could properly mix and master them. But because I had no backups of the original project folders, there was no way I could rework on them.

But luckily (sorta), I had the original unmixed and unmastered demos saved privately on my SoundCloud which I re-downloaded. As awful as everything is mixed and organised, it's still good to have at least some kind of form of these tracks.

So aside from letting this serve as a reminder for me to always back up my work, I figured it'd be good to release something small for you guys on BandCamp. I'm still making music and intend to make and release more Future Funk now that I finally have Ableton Live Standard 10 (so long Live Lite!). Even though I'm working heaps and don't get much time to make music like I did last year, especially with the amount of subs I've been getting on YouTube lately, I'm aiming to pump out singles instead of trying to push myself to release EPs, Albums, etc. It's all about baby steps from now on.

Nonetheless, I hope you guys enjoy these lost tapes of what was going to be a proper album/EP, and thank you so much to every single one of you that have been supporting me for the last year!
